Synopsis for BLOCKBUSTER…coming in January 2015

Check out the synopsis for my fourth book (third novel-length), BLOCKBUSTER:

In the year 2025, survival of the fittest takes on new importance. Hungry for market share and driven by greed, BigPharma companies battle to produce the next blockbuster drug. And they will go to any length to win—and survive.

Dan Tremaine has found the secret to success for Denali Labs. Phil Horton is desperate to save his family firm, Horton Drugs. When they’re put in a head-to-head competition to find the cure for a deadly flesh-eating disease, who will win?

And at what cost?

The clock is ticking. The body count is rising.

And someone has created a monster.

  1. When I was going to college in Lincoln, NE, I dated a young man named Rick Evans. He and another guy, Denny Zager, wrote a song that hit number one in the nation called “In the Year 2525”. Lisa, you know me as Madame Wang and I disappeared because my computer got mega viruses, I met a guy, we sold our respective houses, bought a townhouse together, and have spent the last several months doing that horrible thing called MOVING… A curse about which some writer could write a horror book and earn millions. I trust that chore to you. I bought 2 copies of The Janus book, read it enjoyed it immensely, gifted the second copy, and brag to many folks that I know you very well. I hope to hear from you catch up with you soon. My guy, Paul’s, brother and his partner will soon be moving to St. Paul and so I am hoping to see you there next year early or late this year. Much love to you and David. Yes, I am doing some writing, small poop, nothing like you, but I hope to change that by autumn. Love you much and I still tell friends stories about my best friend Chicken Legs. Over and out, Madame Wang

    • Ah, that explains a lot! I tried to email when ASH AND BONE came out in May and your email was full. Congratulations on your new life!!! And I’m so glad you enjoyed JANUS! P.S. I know the horrors of moving–we don’t like in MN any more…
